About

Hey there! My name is Maggie, and I have a lot of interests.
I am a senior at Temple University in Philadelphia, where

I study urban development and storytelling. I want to spark connections, conversations, and action in communities.

I'm especially interested in the relationship between

public space and social bonds, and hope to attend grad school in the near-ish future.

For now, I have a few gigs:

  • Intern at urban planning consulting firm Interface Studio, where I work on public outreach, data analysis, GIS mapping, and communications.

  • Photo lab monitor for the journalism department at Temple's Klein College of Media and Communication.

When I'm not in class or working at the above, you can find me covering freelance photojournalism assignments or consulting on PhotoVoice community engagement.

Consulting clients include IMPACT Services / Philadelphia Parks and Rec and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

My photojournalism work has been published in the Philadelphia Inquirer, Billy Penn, WHYY, Philadelphia Weekly, and more.
