Hey there! My name is Maggie, and I like people and maps.
I'm interested in bridging the gap between maps that identify a place and the stories of people who make the space by sparking connections, conversations, and action.
At my core, I'm a storyteller. Some of my past experience includes photojournalism at the Philadelphia Inquirer,
and community storytelling at Kensington Voice, and now I use these skills in my planning career to tell the stories of places and inform strategy for change.
For now, I have a few gigs:
Intern at urban planning consulting firm Interface Studio, where I work on public outreach, data analysis, GIS mapping, and communications.
Research Assistant in Temple's Geography and Urban Studies Dept., working on a project about evaluating public spaces.
When I'm not in class or working at the above, you can find me photographing, skateboarding, or listening to music.
