This page features a selection of work completed for Philadelphia-based consultant Interface Studio LLC.
In January 2019, I joined the team as our Planning Intern, and have had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including neighborhood, economic development, transportation, and public space initiatives, all with an emphasis on community engagement and making planning accessible and "fun."
I have gained experience in a range of roles and skills, including focus group facilitation, GIS, data analysis and visualization, presentation creation, report writing and organization. Much of our work focuses on advancing racial and socio-economic equity through data-driven planning. Additionally, I have had the chance to take part in our office-wide anti-racism work, which focuses on uprooting white supremacist norms that prevail in white collar office culture, in addition to contributing to equity-focused planning work (such as Philadelphia's Rebuild).
I also developed our communications strategy, overseeing social media, blog posts, project updates, and press releases, to further the recognition and reach of the studio.
